Spam and Advertising: Unsolicited promotional messages, links to commercial websites, multi-level marketing schemes, or requests for money/gifts.
Recording and Distribution: Recording, screenshotting, or streaming conversations without clear consent from all participants. Sharing private conversations outside the platform without permission.
Malicious Behavior: Attempting to hack, phish, spread malware, or exploit vulnerabilities in the platform. Sharing suspicious links that could compromise user security.
Self-Promotion Abuse: Repeatedly sharing social media handles, personal websites, or other platforms to build external followings. Genuine sharing between friends is fine; systematic solicitation is not.
Disruption: Intentionally disrupting conversations with offensive behavior, trolling, or spamming to degrade the experience for others.
Content Boundaries
While Asia Chat encourages authentic conversation, certain topics and expressions cross the line:
Avoid graphic descriptions of violence, even if presented as "news" or "stories"
Do not share pornographic or sexual material of any kind
Refrain from using slurs, derogatory terms, or dehumanizing language

Action: Depending on the violation, actions may include: warning, temporary suspension (1-7 days), longer suspension (1-30 days), or permanent ban.

Escalation: Severe violations (child exploitation, threats of violence) result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
We strive for fairness but reserve the right to make final determinations about guideline enforcement. Multiple violations in a short period typically result in escalating penalties.
Reporting Violations

Provide details about what happened and when
Include the username if available (though you may not have it in random chat)
Submit the report – our team reviews all submissions
False reporting (deliberately filing reports with no valid violation) is also against the guidelines and may result in consequences for the reporter.
What Happens After You Report?
After submitting a report:
You'll receive a confirmation that your report was received
Our team reviews the incident, which typically takes a few hours to 24 hours depending on volume
If action is taken against the reported user, you'll be notified (though specifics may be limited for privacy reasons)
The reported user may be temporarily suspended during investigation to protect the community
Your Responsibilities
As a community member, you share responsibility for maintaining a positive environment:

Follow the rules even when others don't
